Ongoing ABA Services

Families may need ABA services longer than one six-month period if it is medically necessaryTo be medically necessary means it is appropriate, reasonable, and adequate for your condition.

Every Six Months

Every six months, your child’s ABA provider will reassess your child’s progress and update the treatment plan. You will complete the PDDBI Parent Form and either the PSI-4 or SIPA based on your child’s age.

Annually

Each year, you will complete the Vineland-3 and the SRS-2, along with the PDDBI Parent Form and PSI-4 or SIPA based on your child’s age. 

Every Two Years

Every two years, you must submit a new referral and the DHA approved DSM-5 checklist to continue ABA services. The referral should include any updates as needed.
