How Do I Set Up Payments with TriWest?

TriWest won’t initiate a payment from you until Jan. 1, 2025. Set them up now to be ready for the new year. You have two options

• Option 1: Set up automatic payments securely online. You’ll need your primary email address on file with DEERS to sign up as a new user. Sign up for monthly, quarterly, or annual payments.
• Option 2: Download the Automatic Monthly TRICARE Payment Set Up Request form. Complete the form and mail it to the address on page 2. The form is for recurring monthly payments.

I Want to Join a Plan!

If you qualify for TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select, you can sign up now. Learn about Eligibility to see if you qualify.

Enroll now, in one of three ways.

• Online: Use the Beneficiary Web Enrollment portal in milConnect.
• By Phone: 1-888-TRIWEST (874-9378).
  • After you’re enrolled, be sure to set up your payments using one of two options above.
  • A representative will explain both options to you.
• By mail or fax: Download the form for the plan you wish to enroll in. Then send it to TriWest for processing.
  • TRICARE Prime form (DD2876-2)
  • TRICARE Select form (DD3043-2)

I Want to Switch Plans!

If you already have TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select, you can change to a different plan if it is available in your area. You can also switch between single and family coverage.

Make changes now, in one of two ways:

• By Phone: 1-888-TRIWEST (874-9378)
• By mail or fax: Download the form for the plan you wish to enroll in. Then send it to TriWest for processing.
  • TRICARE Prime form (DD2876-2)
  • TRICARE Select form (DD3043-2)

Note: You won’t be able to make TRICARE plan changes in the Beneficiary Web Enrollment portal from Oct. 28 through Dec. 31 this year.

West Region Changes

Remember! TriWest replaces Health Net Federal Services as the West Region contractor on Jan. 1, 2025. Do you pay enrollment or premium payments by bank funds transfer or credit card? You’ll need to set up your payment information with TriWest before Dec. 31, 2024. Don’t forget or you’ll risk getting disenrolled!

What Providers Will Be Available in the West Region?

The West Region provider directory is now available. TriWest adds providers to the network daily! Don’t see your provider? Check back often for updates through Jan. 1, 2025.

Looking for Your Primary Care Manager?

TRICARE Prime Update: TriWest is adding primary care managers (PCMs) daily. This will continue through the end of the year. PCM assignments will be available on the secure, self-service portal starting Jan. 1, 2025. If you don’t see your PCM in the directory, please continue to check back between now and Jan. 1, 2025.
