Do you have changes that might take effect prior to Jan. 1, 2025? Contact the current contractor Health Net Federal Services. For example, if you experience a qualifying life event.

TRICARE Automatic Payment Authorization Form

Set up automatic payments for enrollment and premium payments to TriWest. This must be completed before Jan. 1, 2025.

Prepare Now to Switch Your Payment

  • Update your contact information in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System. Don’t miss important communications about upcoming changes.
  • Watch for notifications from TriWest and act promptly. Avoid disruption in your benefits.
  • Set up automatic, electronic funds transfer or recurring credit card TRICARE payments with TriWest. Payments with the current contractor end Dec. 31, 2024. TriWest won’t initiate a payment from you until Jan. 1, 2025.
    • Option 1: Set up automatic payments securely online.
      • Select the link. Then, select the “New User? Sign Up Now” option.
      • You’ll be asked to input your email address. A verification code will be sent to you.
      • Check your email for the verification code. Then, enter it to continue.
      • Complete the information requested (name, address, etc.) in the secure forms. Have your DOD ID ready. You’ll need it for one of the fields to verify your information.
      • Select your payment method. (Helpful hint: Consider using electronic funds transfer. It avoids you having to complete this process again. For example, if your credit card expires.)
      • Complete all fields.
      • Submit.
    • Option 2: Download the Automatic Monthly TRICARE Payment Set Up Request form. Complete the form and mail it to the address on page 2.
  • Keep your payment information safe. TriWest can’t transfer your existing RCC or EFT payment plan data from the outgoing contractor. You must sign up for recurring payments with TriWest for payments starting Jan. 1, 2025. Charges for your TRICARE fees or premiums with TriWest won’t start until after Jan. 1, 2025.
  • Do nothing if you use military allotment payments. Allotments will automatically transfer to TriWest in January 2025.
