Autism Service Navigator

The ACD provides care management services through your child’s assigned ASN, who acts as your child’s clinical advocate. An ASN is a licensed behavioral health professional or registered nurse experienced in care management. After your child enrolls in the ACD, they will have an ASN assigned to them. Your child must enroll with an ASN to receive ABA services.

Upon enrollment, your ASN will complete a welcome call and create a comprehensive care plan. You will update the CCP every six months while enrolled in the ACD. The ASN will help coordinate services and support. To enroll in the ACD, you must actively maintain communication with your child’s ASN and update the CCP.

Your ASN will:

  • Locate BCBA providers for ABA services
  • Support families in developing and maintaining a CCP
  • Coordinate and participate in medical team conferences
  • Assist with moves to and from different regions and discharge support
