Dental Costs

There are two TRICARE dental plans:

• TRICARE Dental Program
• Active Duty Dental Program

The TRICARE Dental Program:

• Is voluntary
• Requires you to enroll
• Has monthly premiums and cost-shares for covered dental services

The Active Duty Dental Program:

• Complements services provided at military dental clinics for active duty service members
• Doesn’t charge out-of-pocket costs for covered dental services
