Two-Factor Authentication
Enhanced Security for Beneficiary Self-Service
We are adding more protection to your self-service log in process. This extra step will enhance security.
Existing Users
If you’re an existing self-service user, you will choose how you want to receive your security code when you log in. After logging in, you will choose between the following methods:
- Authenticator apps: Generates unique codes for verification
- SMS/text message: Sends a code to a registered mobile phone number
- Voice calls: An automated call prompts the user to enter a code or press a button.
- Email: A code sent to a registered email address
After logging in, visit your “Communication Profile” to make sure you have a valid email address on file. This will ensure you can successfully get authentication codes and notifications.
