Self-Service Features

You can easily manage your health care with self-service options. Check your referral or authorization status, verify your eligibility, view claims, and see your billing summary.

Register for an Account

Adults aged 18 or older can create a self-service account. If you have a DS Logon or can get one, use it to access self-service and our mobile app. If you can’t get a DS Logon, register for an account with TRICARE East. You need your sponsor’s ID to register. 

Make a Payment

You can pay your current bill and view your billing summary through self-service.

Check the status of your claims, see your explanation of benefits, and ask questions about your claims.

Verify Eligibility

Your benefits depend on whether you’re a sponsor (active duty, retired, or National Guard and Reserve) or a family member (spouse or child in DEERS).

Check Your Referral Status

View your referrals and authorizations. You can check their status, view, and print your referral letters.

Update Your Communication Preferences

Add or change your email address and phone number. Opt in for text alerts and manage your communication preferences all in one place.

Start a Chat or Send a Secure Message

Once you log in to self-service, you can chat with customer service representatives or send a secure message. Use the chat tool from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can use the secure messaging feature anytime, 24/7.
