TRICARE Prime Overseas

TRICARE Prime Overseas is available to active duty service members and their command-sponsored family members living together in non-remote overseas locations.

Retired service members and their families can’t enroll in TRICARE Prime Overseas. 

You can enroll online, by phone, by mail, or at a TRICARE Service Center.

Online
  1. Go to milConnect.
  2. Click the “Benefits” tab.
  3. Click “Beneficiary Web Enrollment (BWE).”

Note: You need a Common Access CardDFAS (MyPay) Account, or a myAuth account to log in to BWE.

By Phone 

Call your regional contractor:

  1. Find your regional contractor number.
  2. Choose option 4 to speak to the Global TRICARE Service Center.
By Mail

Send your TRICARE Prime Enrollment, Disenrollment and Primary Care Manager (PCM) Change Form and a copy of your orders to International SOS:

Family Member Coverage

Family members can enroll if they’re:

  • On accompanying orders
  • Command-sponsored

Did you have a baby overseas? Your baby is covered by TRICARE Prime Overseas for the first 120 days after birth, but you must take steps to enroll your child to continue TRICARE Prime Overseas after the first 120 days. Learn more about getting TRICARE coverage for your child.

When Coverage Begins

Your coverage begins when your completed enrollment application is received.

Were You Involuntarily Disenrolled?
If you would like to request reconsideration of involuntary disenrollment, late initial enrollment, or late change to coverage, contact your TRICARE contractor
Downloading TRICARE Forms

To download an enrollment form, right-click and choose “Save Link As” or download directly from the WHS forms page. For enrollment in TRICARE Prime options, TRICARE Select options, or TRICARE Young Adult, use your region-specific DD enrollment form.
