Find a Network Pharmacy

There are thousands of TRICARE retail network pharmacies in the U.S. and most territories.

There are currently no network pharmacies in American Samoa.

Find a Network Pharmacy

You can also find a pharmacy by:

• Using the Express Scripts Pharmacy mobile app
• Calling Express Scripts at 877-363-1303

Network pharmacies aren’t located in other overseas areas. But in the Philippines, you must get your prescriptions filled at a certified pharmacy.

Tip: Do you have other health insurance with pharmacy benefits? You’ll save money if you use a TRICARE retail network pharmacy that’s also in-network with your other plan.

Fill Prescriptions

At a network pharmacy, you can get up to a 30-day supply of your medication for one copayment. You may be able to get 90-day supply of your medication for three copayments.

Filling your prescriptions at a network pharmacy is easy:

• Ask your provider to send your prescription electronically, or bring your written prescription to the pharmacy.
• You’ll be required to show your Uniformed Services ID card at the pharmacy.
• You won’t need to file claims.

Get Vaccines

You can get some covered vaccines for no cost at participating network pharmacies. To find a pharmacy that offers vaccines:

• Search for a pharmacy online.
• Call Express Scripts at 877-363-1303.

Important: Be sure the person who gives you the vaccine is a pharmacist. If a provider other than a pharmacist gives you a vaccine at a retail network pharmacy, you may have out-of-pocket costs.

Using Non-Network Pharmacies

At non-network pharmacies, you’ll have to pay full price for your prescription drugs up front. (This includes active duty service members.) You can file a claim for reimbursement. Reimbursements are subject to applicable deductibles, cost-shares, and copayments. All deductibles must be met before we can reimburse you.

• Are you in the U.S. or U.S. territories? You should only visit a non-network pharmacy as your last option.
• Most overseas retail pharmacies are non-network pharmacies.

Overseas Retail Pharmacies

In some cases, retail pharmacies may be your only pharmacy option overseas. You may have to pay for the total amount first and then file a claim with the overseas contractor for reimbursement.

• Active duty service members will get a full reimbursement for covered drugs.
• Active duty family will get a full reimbursement for covered drugs when enrolled in TRICARE Prime Overseas or TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas.
• All others will get a partial reimbursement for covered drugs.

In the Philippines

You must fill all prescriptions at certified pharmacies in the Philippines for TRICARE to reimburse you. If you don’t fill your prescriptions at a certified pharmacy, you’re responsible for the full cost of the prescription. TRICARE won’t cost-share prescriptions purchased from or billed by your healthcare provider’s office.
