Inhaler Coverage
For patients with asthma and other conditions, TRICARE covers up to six inhalers at once for a 90-day supply at participating pharmacies. If you get your medications from:
- A military pharmacy, you can get a maximum of six refills to cover 90 days.
- TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery, you can get a maximum of six refills to cover 90 days.
- A TRICARE retail network pharmacy, you can get
- Two inhalers to cover 30 days
- Patients can pick up:
- Four inhalers to cover 60 days
- Six inhalers to cover 90 days
TRICARE Pharmacy Copayments
Your costs will vary depending on the drug’s category. Prescription drugs fall into four categories:
Non-active duty service members must pay the full for each 30-day supply.
