Getting Care When Deployed

When you're deployed, you'll get care differently than when you're at home.

• Before you deployed, you got most care from an assigned primary care manager.
• Now, you'll get most care in theater at a troop medical clinic, combat hospital or similar military-operated health care facility.
• If you need specialized care, you may be transported to a fixed military hospital or clinic for care.

Any care you need will be coordinated by your unit medical representative. If you have questions, contact your unit medical representative for assistance.
