Drug Limitations and Requirements
Please note the following limitations and requirements for drugs filled through the Deployment Prescription Program.
Controlled (CII) Drugs |
Schedule II controlled medications (CII) may be mailed or e-prescribed to Home Delivery.* You must have a hard copy, a paper prescription with the provider's hand-written signature, and a valid personal DEA# for mailed prescriptions. We don't accept photocopied, scanned, faxed, or digital signatures. Send hard copy paper prescriptions to: Express Scripts, Inc. P.O. Box 52012 Phoenix, AZ 85072-2012 For CII drugs, you can only get a 90-day supply at a time with no refills. We may require a new prescription if we find errors. *Electronic prescribing is subject to federal and state/U.S. territory e-Prescribing laws. |

You must have a hard copy, a paper prescription with the provider's hand-written signature, and a valid personal DEA#. We don't accept photocopies or digital signatures. You can only get a 90-day supply at a time with no refills. We may require a new prescription if we find errors. Your provider can fax or you can mail CIII-CV prescriptions to Express Scripts. |
Psychotropic Drugs |
You may get an initial 180-day supply at the pre-deployment site. Exception: You can only get a 90-day supply of CII stimulants at the pre-deployment site. In theater, a 180-day supply (total) may be supplied. We don't accept mail order prescriptions from pre-deployment sites. You must see a provider in theater for all follow-up care and prescription renewals. |
Non-deployable Drugs | You must have proof of an approved CENTCOM waiver. |
Over-the-Counter (OTC) Drugs |
Only the following OTC drugs can be filled:

Smoking Cessation Drugs | Chantix is a non-deployable drug. We require proof of an approved CENTCOM waiver. |
