TRICARE covers chelation therapyA process in which a synthetic solution is injected into the bloodstream to remove heavy metals and minerals. if the chelator is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the therapy is for an FDA-approved indication.

TRICARE doesn't cover chelation therapy for the treatment of:

  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Arthritis
  • Hypoglycemia
  • Diabetes
  • Arteriosclerosis
  • Malaria
  • Cancer
  • Alzheimer's disease
