TRICARE publishes handbooks, brochures, fact sheets, and other benefit resources. You can view, print, or download these products from the TRICARE Publications page.
To find what you’re looking for, you can start your search by keyword or category. You’ll find products covering a wide range of topics, like costs, retiring from active duty, Medicare, and maternity care. Some products are for specific beneficiaries, like National Guard and Reserve members, active duty family members, or retirees.
Here are some common questions and publications that offer answers.
Q: I’m enrolled in TRICARE Select. What’s my catastrophic cap?
A: Find your catastrophic cap for TRICARE Select and other detailed costs and fees outlined in the TRICARE Costs and Fees Sheet. You can also use the TRICARE Compare Cost Tool to research costs and plans.
Q: We just received overseas duty orders. What options are available to my family members after we move?
A: For all things overseas, start with the TRICARE Overseas Program Handbook. This handbook provides an overview of your overseas health care options, provider types and networks, the TRICARE Pharmacy Program, dental options, and more. You can also discover which plans you’re eligible for based on your location, sponsor status, and age with the TRICARE Plan Finder.
Q: My husband and I are retired Navy. We’ll be eligible for Medicare soon. How does Medicare work with TRICARE?
A: The TRICARE For Life Handbook is a handbook that describes how the TRICARE For Life program works for beneficiaries who are eligible for both TRICARE and Medicare. The TRICARE and Medicare: Turning Age 65 Brochure provides details on signing up for Medicare, prescription drug coverage, and more.
Q: I’m enrolled in the TRICARE Dental Program. How do I find a dentist?
A: Learn about network dentists and how to find one in the TRICARE Dental Program Handbook, in addition to covered services, costs and fees, orthodontic services, and more.
