Suicide is Preventable
Suicide affects Americans in all communities and walks of life, including the military. Its causes are complex and involve biological, psychological, environmental, and social factors. A key goal of suicide prevention is to reduce risk factors and increase resilience and wellness.
Suicide is not inevitable. Start the conversation, provide support and direct help to those who need it, to prevent suicides and save lives.
Sometimes just talking to someone is a critical first step. Encourage your fellow service members, family members, and those you lead to ask for help before issues become a crisis. Military OneSource can help service members and their families with support for all of life’s stressors.
Working through your stressful situation is important and TRICARE is here to help you, whether you are just beginning to take steps or you are still seeking help and advice.
