Does TRICARE cover hospice care?
Yes. TRICARE covers Medicare-approved hospice programs in the United States and U.S. Territories. To learn more, visit the Hospice Care page.
If you live overseas (not including U.S. Territories), TRICARE may cover hospice services you get in a hospice facility overseas. TRICARE won’t pay for the facility or bed charges because the facility isn’t Medicare-certified.
Note: If you have TRICARE For Life coverage and live in the U.S. or a U.S. Territory, you must also follow Medicare’s rules.
