Foot Care
TRICARE covers podiatry, including laboratory and radiology services, for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease, metabolic disease, or neurological disease.
TRICARE doesn’t cover:
- The removal of corns, calluses, and other routine podiatry services
- Nerve blocks for increasing blood supply to the foot and toes
- Shoe inserts
- Orthopedic shoes (unless attached to a brace)
- Arch supports
This list of covered services isn’t all-inclusive. TRICARE covers services that are and considered proven. Some services have special rules or limits, and some services are excluded. Learn how a benefit becomes covered.
