Government-Directed Change

Government Directed Change	Yes. You have 90 days to enroll in or change your health plan after you’re notified of a government-directed change.

Primary Care Manager Change

If the government directs you to change your PCM from a network PCM to a military hospital PCM, or vice versa, it’s a QLE. This only applies if you have TRICARE Prime. This gives you the option to either accept the PCM change or switch to TRICARE Select to continue care through a network PCM. 

Health Plan Change

If the government no longer offers a certain TRICARE health plan in your area, you may elect to enroll in another qualified TRICARE health plan.
