You have 90 days from the effective date on the court order to make changes.

When a child is placed in your home, you must enroll your child in DEERS within 90 days of the effective date listed on the court order*. To enroll, take the court order to your nearest RAPIDS location to enroll the child in DEERS. Your Service will determine the child’s eligibility.

*Placement must be through court order to qualify as a QLE.
