Who is eligible for TRICARE For Life?

 

You’re eligible for TRICARE For Life (TFL) if you:

• Show as TRICARE-eligible in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS); and
• Have Medicare Part A and Part B.

Eligibility begins on the first day you have both Medicare Part A and Part B.

Note: If you’re an active duty service member or active duty family member with Medicare, you remain in your current plan and don’t transition to TFL.
