I have TRICARE For Life; will I get an explanation of benefits?

 

Yes. The TRICARE For Life contractor mails you a monthly summary explanation of benefits (EOB) instead of a new EOB each time a claim processes.  

Instead of getting monthly EOBs, you may register to get an email notification when your claim has processed. Once registered, you can log on to the website to see your EOB.

Medicare sends you a Medicare Summary Notice every 3 months.

If you file claims overseas, you will get an EOB from the TRICARE Overseas Program contractor, International SOS. You can register to get an email notification when your claim has processed. Once registered, you can log on to the website to see your EOB.
