TOP Reminder: Enroll in Electronic Payments – Check Payments Discontinued in Certain Overseas Locations (Overseas)

It's recommended that all TRICARE Overseas Program beneficiaries and providers enroll in electronic payments, the quickest and most secure payment method. Enrollment is quick, secure, and easy to complete. If you have already enrolled, no further action is required.

Several overseas locations have discontinued check payments in local currency, and additional countries may do so in the future. Currently affected locations include France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, and Thailand.

To ensure uninterrupted payments in local currency, please complete your electronic payment enrollment as soon as possible:

• TRICARE Overseas Program beneficiaries can sign up for direct deposit by updating their preferences in the TRICARE Overseas Program Beneficiary Secure Claims Portal (you will be prompted to log in or create an account to complete direct deposit setup in the portal). • TRICARE Overseas Program providers can access and complete an Electronic Funds Transfer enrollment form, providing all requested information and following the submission instructions. For additional guidance, visit Helpful Claims Resources and Guides.
