Does TRICARE cover lab developed tests?
The Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) Demonstration gives you access to some lab developed tests not usually covered. Below are some of the lab tests TRICARE covers under the demonstration. Coverage includes one test per condition per lifetime.
- Cystic fibrosis
- Spinal muscular atrophy
- Fragile X syndrome
- Tay-Sachs disease
- HTemoglobinopathies
- Conditions linked with Ashkenazi Jewish descent
