Biofeedback
TRICARE may cover biofeedback for electrothermal, electromyograph and electrodermal therapy when it's been determined that the beneficiary is no longer responding to other forms of conventional treatment for:
- Raynaud's Syndrome
- Incapacitating muscle spasms or weakness
Coverage is limited to up to 20 inpatient and outpatient treatments, including the initial intake evaluation, per .
TRICARE doesn't cover biofeedback for the treatment of:
- Ordinary muscle tension
- Psychosomatic conditions
- Hypertension
TRICARE doesn't cover neurofeedback or rental/purchase of biofeedback equipment.
