Mucus Clearance Device
TRICARE covers mucus clearance devices for:
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (which encompasses both chronic bronchitis and emphysema)
- Other mucus producing lung diseases
The mucus clearance device must be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
