Does Your Care Need a Referral?

All care for TRICARE Prime under the primary care manager referral waiver ended Sept. 30, 2025. If your specialty care needs to continue, you’ll need a new referral from your PCM to avoid fees and out-of-pocket costs.

• Search the West Region Provider Directory to find a network provider.
• Use the Referral and Authorizations Decisions Support tool available on the beneficiary portal to see if your care needs a referral.
