Pharmacy Changes, April 17, 2020

In accordance with DHA and CDC social distancing guidance, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital Pharmacy is implementing curbside pharmacy services to include prescription activation/drop-off and pickup in the River Garage starting Friday, April 17, 2020. Garage hours will be Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Although prescription activation will be available in River Garage, Floor 1, we recommend utilizing the following ways of activating your prescription before you arrive.  

Options to get your prescription ready for pickup when you arrive:

Audiocare/TRICARE Online Refill Request

  • Call the refill number (800) 377-1723 or visit to request all your refills at the Exchange Pharmacy.

Prescription Request Form

  • Please fill out the information on the Prescription Request Form in its entirety. If your form is submitted before 12 p.m. (Noon), it will be ready for pickup in River Garage, Floor 2 after 3:30 p.m. or when you receive a text notification. If your form is submitted after 12 p.m. (Noon), it will be available for pickup after 9:30 a.m. the following business day.

Phone Activation

  • Call the pharmacy at (571) 231-3224, select option 2, then option 2 to activate your prescription before leaving home. Once you receive notification that it’s ready, come directly to River Garage, Floor 2 for pickup. Additionally, you can call this number to let us know you are coming to pickup your medications you have already activatedCalled or ordered to active duty service for more than 30 days in a row. or dropped off through the curbside service to speed up the pickup process.

TRICARE Online Secure Messaging

  • Login to TRICARE Online Secure messaging and request your new electronic prescriptions to be ready for pickup at either the Main Hospital curbside pickup or Exchange Pharmacy.

Curbside pickup may be suspended during inclement weather or for other unforeseen circumstances. Stay informed by following us on social media.

NOTE: The Main Outpatient Pharmacy will continue with standard operating hours for the Emergency Department and hospital staff ONLY. Outside of curbside pharmacy hours, the lobby will be open for patients Monday-Friday, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
