Freedom Quitline Research Study
If you’re a smoker interested in quitting, try the Freedom Quitline (1-844-I-AM-FREE) - a telephone quit line that also provides free nicotine replacement therapy. The Freedom Quitline is a research study trying to find the best ways to help TRICARE beneficiaries stop smoking.
If you use the Freedom Quitline, you’ll receive:
- Free nicotine replacement therapy (nicotine patch or gum) delivered to your home
- Four smoking cessation counseling sessions over the phone with a highly-trained staff member that is ready to help you quit
You may qualify for the Freedom Quitline if you're:
- A TRICARE beneficiary (active duty or retired service member or dependent)
- A smoker who has smoked at least 5 cigarettes a day in the past 12 months
- 18 years or older
- In the United States
