Making an Appointment

Phone Number: 1-817-782-5900

Public Information: NBHC Fort Worth no longer offers traditional "sick call," however the appointment call center may schedule patients for same-day or next-day appointments depending on the severity of the medical issue.

All patients must be in the uniform of the day (regardless of branch of service) except when in a leave status. PT gear, coveralls or civilian attire is not acceptable unless the visit is for an acute injury.

NBHC Fort Worth can provide medical services to Active Duty members only. However, our pharmacy services are available to all eligible beneficiaries.

You may be able to make an MTF appointment online. Learn More >>

Additional Information

Advice Line: Call 1-800-TRICARE, Option 1 to talk to a nurse who can answer health-related questions, help you find a doctor and schedule appointments.

After Hours Care: Call 911 for true emergencies. Call the Nurse Advice Line at 1-800-874-2273, or for any other issues, contact the Chief of the Day at 1-817-807-7314 before seeking civilian care.

In Case of an Emergency: If you have an emergency, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911. Patients are then REQUIRED TO FOLLOW UP with the clinic on the first business day after discharge. This will ensure that your military medical needs are addressed (i.e. light duty/profile, or return to duty), and that your hospital visit will be covered by TRICARE. You can schedule this appointment via the call center at 1-877-NAVYMED. Please indicate that your visit is for ER follow up.
