Providers in the Philippines

Preferred Providers

Beginning Jan. 1, 2018, a preferred-provider network will be available in the Philippines. If you live or travel in the Philippines, you’ll be required to see a TRICARE-authorized providerAn authorized provider is any individual, institution/organization, or supplier that is licensed by a state, accredited by national organization, or meets other standards of the medical community, and is certified to provide benefits under TRICARE. There are two types of TRICARE-authorized providers: Network and Non-Network. for care. TOP Select beneficiaries who reside in the Philippines and who seek care within designated Philippine locations are encouraged to see a TRICARE-preferred provider. Out-of-pocket costs are lower when using a preferred provider.

To find a preferred provider: 

At the time of your visit, preferred providers will ask you to fill out an agreement to pay the cost shares and deductibles. You can pay up front or may be billed afterwards.
