Otorhinolaryngology Services
TRICARE covers services, including audiology services, for the diagnosis and treatment of covered medical conditions.
Covered services for ear, nose, throat, head, and neck disorders include:
- Screening
- Diagnosis
- Treatment
Audiology services for hearing disorders include:
- Prevention
- Diagnosis
- Rehabilitation
- Selection and evaluation of hearing aids
Note: Hearing aid services and supplies are only covered for:
- Active duty service members and family members with hearing loss that meets specific hearing criteria
- Children of retired service members, if the child:
- Has hearing loss that meets specific hearing criteria
- Is enrolled in TRICARE Prime or the US Family Health Plan
- Has a living sponsor
- Doesn’t live overseas
