Defense Health Agency

"On October 1, 2013, the Department of Defense established the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to manage the activities of the Military Health System. These activities include those previously managed by TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), which was disestablished on the same date. During the next several months, all TMA websites will change to reflect the new DHA. We appreciate your patience during this transition."

TRICARE Area Office-Pacific Annual Symposium

RADM Christine Hunter spoke at the TAO-Pacific Annual Symposium where she was introduced to TAO-Pacific staff and Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Commanders for the first time. The annual symposium was a huge success and accomplished several major objectives. In addition to conveying TRICARE benefit updates, overseas contract updates and providing training for BCACs and staff, the annual symposium served as a platform to forge partnerships and open lines of communication between the TAO-P and Pacific MTFs.
