Governor Quinn Signs Legislation to Boost Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Businesses

As part of Illinois Governor Quinn’s $31 Billion Illinois Jobs Now! Program, the governor has signed into legislation the Disadvantaged Business Revolving Loan Program. This program will

Good News for non- 8(a) Small Businesses
More small businesses will be able to benefit from the National Defense Authorization Act 2013 (NDAA) that was signed into law by President Obama. Within the NDAA, the government is
expanding on the Mentor-Protégé program that will broaden the focus to increase program accessibility to “thousands of non-8(a) small businesses.” For more information, please refer to the link provided.
